Barcelona, Paris, Spurs drawn tough

Former Champions Barcelona, French league winner Paris and English club Spurs have been given a tough draw in round of 16 in UEFA Champions League. Spanish giant Barcelona has been drawn to English champion Chelsea, who finished second in the group behind Italian side AS Roma. The French champion Paris Saint Germain has been drawn to defending champion and 12 times winner Real Madrid, who also finished the group in 2nd position. Their group winner, Spurs has also been handed a tough ask to travel to Juventus. Juventus finished second in the same group where Barcelona finished first.

For other English side, draw has been effectively easy on comparison. Manchester United take on Spanish side Sevilla, while their neighbor Manchester City will be travelling to Switzerland  to play against FC Basel. Five times UCL winner Liverpool will go to Portugal to play against FC Porto. AS Roma, who finished first in the group will face Shakthar Donestsk in Ukraine. German Champion FC Bayern Munich will welcome Turkish giant Besiktas.

The matches will be played on 13,14,20 and 21 February, 2018 for the first leg and the returning leg will be conducted on 6,7,13 and 14 of March, 2018.
