Nepal Volleyball Association and Netherlands Volleyball Association signed a five-point agreement in a press meet held at Kathmandu on Monday.
Earlier in the program, Dutch coach Maat van Wezel and Netherlands Volleyball Association Development manager Peter van Tarel, who landed Kathmandu this morning, were welcomed by Nepal Volleyball Association President Manoranjan Sharma and General Secretary Jitendra Bahadur Chand.
President Sharma and Manager Tarel signed the memorandum that states Dutch Volleyball Association will provide coach for Nepal National team till 2019. According to the agreement, Dutch Association will also provide sporting gears to Nepalese association. NVA will also support in the construction of physical infrastructure, will train Nepalese coaches and exposure programs for players from both countries.
Coach Wezel will train Nepal Volleyball National team players.
Netherlands Volleyball Association Development manager Peter van Tarel, who have visited Nepal for fifth time, assured that Netherlands Association will help in the sustainable development of Nepalese volleyball through school programs, coach training programs (youth coaches and national team coaches) and national team training program.
Netherlands Coach Wezel said that he found Nepalese side technically good when he watched their videos. He is looking forward to coach National team players and to train at schools.
