8th International Karate has commenced from Wednesday in Dhangadi. The competition is the biggest prized competition in Nepal in Karate sports history.
The competition is being held on the behalf of Far Western Gojurio Karate Do, and was inaugurated by Region No. 5’s parliament member Naradmuni Rana.
There are more than 500 players taking part in he competition coming from 6 countries including Nepal. India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bhutan and Bangladesh are the participating teams.
First prize is 51,000 while second will receive 31,000 and third will get 21,000 as the prize.
The competition will be concluded on Thursday.
