Simara: Organizers Make Rs 15 Lakhs Profit From 8th Simara Gold Cup

Rs 15 lakhs profit have been made from 8th Simara gold cup.

Organizers, Nawa Jana Jagriti yuwa club held press meet on Friday to make the announcement.

“We collected Rs 55,57,000 and spent Rs 40,16,000”, said the club President Kasim Miya.

The organizers spent Rs 21,56,000 in team management, Rs 3,83,000 for ground management and Rs 3 lakh for press & publicity.

“We will use the money in Simara academy to produce quality football players from this region”, added Miya.

The organizers also provided Rs 37,900 to Thanimai community Forest consumption committee from the profit.

General secy of the club, Shambhu Thakuri said the club had planned to construct multipurpose venue in Simara.

Sankata Club had won the title beating Nepal Army 4-2 (P) in the final.
