Shanti Foundation, a Kathmandu based NGO, has donated football gears to Madhyapur Youth Association for Grassroots programs on Saturday.
MYA-a B Division team is regularly organizing Grassroots football at Sanothimi Ground every Saturday.
More than 200 hundred school students are participating in the Grassroots football.
The foundation donated 20 Balls, 30 Bibs, 18 Cones and 24 Marker to the Association.
Ms. Josepha Cantor Borela, a Swiss citizen has helped funding the distributed gears.
Ms. Borel and other two representative of Shanti Foundation jointly handed over the equipment to the Association.
Upendra Man Singh, President of MYA, coaches’ duo Rajesh Shrestha and Manoj Ranjit received the gears with thanks from the NGO team.
“I am very thankful to Shanti Foundation and Josepha for this. We are doing our best to promote and upgrade Grassroot football,” said President Singh.
“I feel proud and glad to help kid’s children’s like you. MYA team is doing very good job. I/ We desire to help more in coming days.”

Shanti Foundation came into exist after devastating Earthquake that hit Nepal two years ago, with their first workshop, building temporary homes to the victims.
They last time donated football gears to the kids of Bode, Thimi-1.
