Nepal National Team Head Coach Gyotuku Koji has another challenge after leading the team to AFC Solidarity Cup victory. The challenge is bigger than AFC Solidarity Cup.
Nepal has been drafted to AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualification after Guam withdrew their participation. Macau is another lucky team to have been drafted in the mega qualification.
Coach Koji is already into business and training the boys at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur.
We are focused on tactics build up, goal scoring ability, dribbling penetration and shooting improvement,” determined coach Koji told.
He added AFC Asian Cup qualification is real battle for Nepal.
“The qualification is going to be tough but we will prepare for good. We will rectify our mistakes.”
“Honestly, we haven’t improved after AFC Solidarity Cup. But we are working on it. We can’t improve in one shot. It takes time and it isn’t that easy.”
“AFC Asian Cup Qualifier is a big chance. We want to improve our weakness and play our best. Of course final round qualification is the target but we need to work hard.” Added Japanese coach.
Nepal are grouped with Tajikistan, Philippines and Yemen in group F.
