MMC Leaves For Bangladesh To Take Part In Shiekh Kamal International Club Cup

A-31 member MMC team left for Bangladesh on Wednesday to take part in 2nd Shiekh Kamal international club Cup.

MMC will open Shiekh Kamal international club cup campaign taking on Mohammedan Sporting club on February 19 at MA Aziz stadium, Chittagong, Bangladesh at 7 PM local time. They will play their second match against Shaheen Asmayee FC from Afghanistan on February 22 followed by their last group match against hosts and Defending Champions Chittagong Ahabani on February 24.

Total eight teams from Afghanistan, Nepal, Maldives, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh are taking part. They are divided in two groups. Two teams from each group will progress to semifinals. Group A comprises of Dhaka Abahani Ltd, FC Alga of Kyrgyzstan, Pocheon Citizens FC of South Korea and TC Sports Club of Maldives. Chittagong Abahani Ltd, Manang Marshyangdi Club of Nepal, Dhaka Mohammedan SC Ltd and Shaheen Asmayee FC of Afghanistan are clubbed in group B.

Final match will be played on March 2.
