Victorious start for St. Xavier

St. Xavier has made the winning start in the second BBS Cup U-14 College of Science Cricket Tournament on Sunday. They defeated defending champions KMC by 5 wickets. 

The KMC set a total of 106 runs in the total 15 overs while losing 7 wickets. In response, St. Xavier got to the target losing 5 wickets at 14.2 overs. Adit Subedi of St. Xavier was named man of the match for his 42 runs.

In the other game, the host Bhrispati went down to Rose Bud by 5 wickets. Batting first, Bhrispati got 82 runs losting 9 wickets in 14.4 overs. In reply, Rose Bud achieved the target of 83 losing just 5 wickets in 12.3 overs. Adesh Shrestha was named man of the match.

There are 6 teams participating in the tournament divided into 2 groups.
