Bhairahawa and Kathmandu wins

Bhairahawa has made a superb start in the TVS Everest Premier League, winning the second game in a row defeating Lalitpur Patriots by 4 wickets in a very competitive match. In a thriller of a match between Bhairahawa and Laliitpur, game was ended in a last ball when Krishna Karki scored a four to win the match. Earlier, Lalitpur scored 141 with the loss of 9 wickets, where Gyanendra Malla scored 42 and Yogesh Nagar scored 54 runs to get the modest total. For Bhairahawa in bowling, Dipesh Shrestha took 3 wickets, in the 4 overs.

In reply, Punit Bista scored 50 runs for Bhairahawa and made a vital role in the win. But it was Rohit Paudel who made the difference, He made quick 31 of 11 balls before being run-out, and it was Krishna Karki who made the winning run. Punit Bista was named man of the matc. Bhairahawa sit on the top of the table with 2 wins out of 2 games.

In the second game, Kathmandu Kings XI got their first win defeating Chitwan Tigers. It was a do or die game for Kathmandu, where they had to win the match and so they did. Its their first win in 3 games and Chitwan has suffered 2 losses in a row.

Batting first Chitwan scored 142 with the lose of 7 wickets. Dilip Nath was the top scorer with 46 runs, while skipper Maharoof picked up 3 wickets for Kathmandu. In reply Kathmandu chased the target in 19.2 overs. Skipper Maharoof was the top scorer with 39 runs, and was man of the match for his performance.
