Nepal Shotokan Karate Team have left for Kolkata, India today to participate in the 25th International Karate Championship that is to be held from December 9 to December 11.
25 men and 10 Women players will represent Nepal in the championship. The other three officials have also traveled Kolkata with the players.
Shyam Sherpa, Secretary of Nepal Shotokan Karate Dyo, will leave for India tomorrow.
There are 42 participants in the three day championship.
Kumar Manandhar and Sita Shrestha will play a decisive role of judging in the championship.
